2 Days, 1 Night (Nyerere National Park Safari from Zanzibar by Flight)

Day 1:

• Start your adventure with an early morning transfer from your hotel to the airport. A private driver will pick you up from your hotel reception, ensuring a smooth journey.
• Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll check in for your flight to Mtemere Airstrip in Nyerere National Park, the largest national park in Tanzania. Your private safari begins as soon as you land, with a thrilling exploration of the park’s diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. Enjoy lunch amidst the natural beauty of the park
• After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, you’ll be driven back to your accommodation for the night.
• Accommodation: Africa Safari Selous (Mid-range) on a Full-Board basis.
  
  

Day 2:

• Following breakfast, embark on a shared boat safari on the Rufiji River, Tanzania’s largest river. This safari offers exceptional wildlife viewing opportunities, including hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. With a bit of luck, you might even see elephants or giraffes drinking from the river!
• After the boat safari, return to your accommodation before your afternoon flight back to Zanzibar.
• Upon arrival in Zanzibar, a driver will be waiting to transfer you back to your hotel, concluding your unforgettable safari experience.

2 Days, 1 Night (Night Mikumi Safari Itinerary)

Day 1:

• Morning: Our driver will pick you up from your Zanzibar hotel, coordinating with your ferry schedule. You will then be transferred to the ferry for your journey to Dar es Salaam
• Midday: Upon arrival in Dar es Salaam, you will be picked up and driven approximately 5 hours to Mikumi National Park
• Afternoon: Arrive at Mikumi National Park and embark on an evening game drive, exploring the park’s diverse wildlife and landscapes.
• Evening: Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at a comfortable campsite or lodge within the park.
  
  

Day 2:

• Morning: Begin your day with a satisfying breakfast, followed by a half-day game drive (approximately 4 hours) to fully immerse yourself in the wonders of Mikumi National Park.
• Midday: After your game drive, exit the park with an en-route game drive, perfect for capturing stunning wildlife photographs. Stop for lunch in Morogoro town during your journey back to Dar es Salaam
• Afternoon: Continue your drive to Dar es Salaam and board the return ferry to Zanzibar.
• Evening: Arrive in Zanzibar around 4:00 PM, where your driver will meet you for a transfer back to your hotel.
